The Bellevue Fire Department will again be conducting “Operation E.D.I.T.H.” (Exit Drills In The Home) on Sunday, October 4th at 5:00pm within the City of Bellevue. This program is a great way for your family to practice your fire safety plan and test your fire escape plan with your children. We ask that when the fire siren goes off at 5:00pm, you and your family practices your fire escape plan and go to your meeting site outside. After you are all at your meeting place, go to the curb in front of your house and wait for the fire trucks. The fire department will be driving around and handing out stickers and books to those that participate in this great program. Also, this year’s theme is “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen!” Please talk to your child about fire hazards that are present and how to be safe in the kitchen. Thanks in advance for your commitment to fire safety!!
