From The Chief:

Hello and thanks for showing interest in the Bellevue Fire Department.

I am a third generation member of the Bellevue Fire Department and very proud of the heritage and tradition of this organization. Since joining the department in 1986 I have held various positions and offices within the department. Currently serving as fire chief since January 2012.

Established in 1871 the Bellevue Fire Department has become one of the premier fire departments in the area. Pride and tradition run very deep in the group of dedicated individuals that are proud members of this department and community.

I am truly honored to have such a fine group of firefighters that answer the call of duty and show great professionalism when they are called into action. This is due to the dedication that they have and the standards that have been put in place by our past members.

Bellevue is a great community and I would like to thank all of the citizens that support our department; without you our job would be much harder. I would also like to thank all the firefighter’s families that sacrifice time that their first responders are away from them.
