Girl Scouts visit the Fire Station

Recently the Girl Scouts visited and toured the Bellevue Fire Station. The scouts were shown the building and the apparatus. We discussed operations of the FD, technology, equipment, personnel, fundraising and many other things the department handles. The kids really enjoyed their time at the station (I think the attending parents did also). The Troop presented the Bellevue Fire Department with some cookies thanking us for our service to the community. They are learning what it takes to be helping members of their community. We enjoy having groups come to the station and find out how we help the community!
